The Victorian Recycling Infrastructure Plan 2024 (VRIP) has been released by Recycling Victoria.
The VRIP provides a comprehensive plan for meeting the infrastructure needs of the Victorian waste and resource recovery sector over the next 30 years.
At 150 pages, there is a lot to digest in the VRIP.
It includes a material stream infrastructure needs analysis, land use planning and environmental approval considerations for infrastructure developments, an overview of the investment environment for supporting infrastructure investment, and the priorities identified by Recycling Victoria for investment for various material streams, including in regional Victoria.
