Russell Kennedy is pleased to host the Australian Institute Company of Directors' Melbourne Clinical Governance Workshop. Principal, Michael Gorton AM, will be presenting the workshop.
The Clinical Governance workshop will provide an overview of clinical governance obligations in the healthcare landscape by bridging the communication gaps and encouraging partnerships between clinicians, management teams and boards.
Clinical governance is paramount for Healthcare directors to ensure the highest quality care is provided whilst minimising harm to patients.
The Clinical Governance workshop will provide an insight into practical steps for clinical governance in the healthcare – what to look for, what to do, what information to obtain.
We have called together a panel of experienced Healthcare directors to discuss how clinical governance frameworks can be applied practically in the workplace to ensure patients are receiving quality care whilst managing the risks associated with this.
The workshop will feature:
- The interrelationship between clinical and corporate governance systems
- The board’s role in clinical leadership.
- A range of policies, processes, tools, and frameworks for improving Clinical Governance
- Risk mitigation through quality improvement and control.
This workshop has been specifically tailored and is recommended for Healthcare Directors.
