Reform of Victoria's Subordinate Environment Legislation

Victoria’s environment subordinate legislation has been reformed and consultation is open to 31 October 2019.

The draft subordinate legislation is the next component of the major reform package. The changes will have a profound impact on contaminated land development, waste, resource recovery, organic waste processing and wastewater and biosolid reuse.

Stefan Fiedler, Principal in the Government, Planning & Environment team, has identified important considerations and provided high level analysis.
