Russell Kennedy Lawyers announces its largest appointment of senior lawyers in the firm’s history.
Six lawyers have been promoted to the Russell Kennedy partnership, effective 1 July 2018.
Russell Kennedy Lawyers is delighted to announce that Anita Courtney (aged care), Ben Tallboys (education and workplace relations), Emma Turner (government), Jonathan Teh (corporate & commercial), Kyle Gillan (construction & infrastructure) and Suzanne Rieschieck (dispute resolution & litigation) have all joined the partnership.
The internal promotions increase the firm’s partnership by almost 20%, taking the partnership to 37 Principals.

These lawyers represent the future of Russell Kennedy and will play an integral role in making the partnership stronger. The fact that we are able to make this investment demonstrates the strong position of the firm,” said Managing Director Paul Gleeson.
Two Special Counsels have also been promoted, David Ramsay (planning and environment) and Dr Peytee Grusche (intellectual property). In addition, Russell Kennedy has promoted three Senior Associates and two Associates.

In addition to the internal promotions Russell Kennedy has recently appointed Jos Mulcahy, Principal, and Catherine Duong, Associate, from Ashurt to its construction team.

The promotions are effective from 1 July 2018.
