Russell Kennedy has advised the founders of Techni Waterjet (TWJ) on the sale of a majority interest to Italian company, Gravellona Macchine Marmo (GMM).

TWJ manufactures patented waterjet cutting machines in the areas of metal, stone and glass and has approximately 60 employees based in Melbourne, Thailand and the United States.
The buyer, GMM, is based in Italy and manufactures milling and polishing machines for marble, granite and synthetic materials and has approximately 100 employees across Europe, the United States and Hong Kong and exports its products to over 75 countries.
This cross-border transaction included negotiations between Australian and Italian legal advisors in Milan, where the transaction documents were signed.
