Russell Kennedy has advised Maple-Brown Abbott Ltd and its majority shareholders on the sale of the Company to Antipodes Partners Holdings Pty Ltd.

Transaction Details:
Maple-Brown Abbott Ltd is a Sydney-based boutique fund manager which manages $9.1 billion in investment assets. Still majority owned by the Maple-Brown family prior to sale, the Company was established in 1984 by Robert Maple-Brown and Chris Abbott.
Antipodes Partners is an Australian investment manager established in 2015, majority owned by its team of investors and Pinnacle Investment Management Group Limited (ASX:PNI).
The transaction will see Antipodes Partners and Maple-Brown Abbott together managing approximately $18.6 billion.
