On Friday 18 March 2022, Russell Kennedy hosted its ninth Government CPD session, Responding to complaints of workplace bullying and discrimination. This session is worth 1 CPD point in Practice management & Business skills

The purpose of this session was to discuss how to best respond to workplace complaints. The last few years have provided some very good and very bad examples of how to go about it, and our purpose is to discuss some of the areas where we have seen organisations get it wrong, so that you can learn from their mistakes.

This session covered:

  • The steps which should be taken on receiving a complaint;
  • Workplace investigations;
  • Choosing the right outcomes; and
  • The questions which in-house counsel should be asking.

This session was presented by Anthony Massaro, Principal from Russell Kennedy’s experienced Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety team.
