Daniella Li-Rosi is a senior member and experienced litigator who has extensive experience in the personal injury jurisdiction, specialising in statutory benefits, judicial reviews and common law matters on behalf of the Victorian WorkCover Authority and Transport Accident Commission.

Daniella acts in complex contribution, causation, multi-party and worker disputes, with a special interest in common law damages proceedings for psychiatric injury. She conducts litigation in the Supreme, County and Magistrates’ Court of Victoria.  She was one of the senior Workers Compensation team members who provided advice to claims agents to assist with 130-week termination notices and potential common law claims. This included advice on what evidence or investigations were required to support a termination and reduce the risk of common law litigation.

Daniella’s experience allows her to provide strategic and sound advice to insurers, identifying ongoing liability, potential negligence and quantifying damages.

In 2018, Daniella was selected by the VWA for a secondment as a Senior Legal Counsel, to instruct VWA panel firms. Prior to her time as Russell Kennedy, Daniella worked with the Transport Accident Commission as part of its in-house legal practice. Her portfolio included serious injury, common law damages and statutory benefits matters. Prior to this she worked in ComCare, providing advice to numerous government employer entities, in particular those in the telecommunication and transport industry. This included representing these employers at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

Daniella is a member of the Russell Kennedy Women’s Network Committee and was a Nominee for the Victoria WorkCover Authority Scholarship. She was a former committee member of the Victorian WorkCover Authority Continuing Legal Education Committee and Chair of the LIV Ethics Guidelines Review Sub-Committee.
