Emily supports our clients in a range of employment, workplace relations, discrimination and workplace safety matters. Emily is focussed on achieving strategic outcomes that work for the client, which includes managing financial, legal and reputational risk.

Experience

  • Advising on the management of employee performance and conduct, workplace investigations and dismissals
  • Acting for clients in unfair dismissal, general protection and discrimination proceedings (including at conciliations and hearings)
  • Drafting and advising on employment contracts, independent contractor agreements and workplace policies
  • Assisting independent schools across Australia on managing student and parent relationships, and eliminating the risk of child abuse (including by managing mandatory reporting obligations, and appropriately responding to allegations)
  • Advising on restraints of trade and enforcement proceedings
