Jack is a lawyer in the Property team and works broadly across a range of property transactions including the sale and acquisition of retirement villages and other commercial properties, commercial and retail leasing and the acquisition and disposal of land on behalf of local governments.

Jack has experience in drafting sale documents and other commercial agreements, advising clients on property contracts including leases and licence agreements and legal due diligence.

Jack is focussed on developing relationships with his clients and assisting them to achieve successful commercial outcomes.

Experience

Property due diligence for the acquisition and sale of residential, mixed-use, commercial and industrial properties. Including reviewing land contracts, business sale agreements, titles, plans and encumbrances for the acquisition of multi-lot retirement villages.
Acting for and advising owners, operators and developers of retirement villages in Victoria and NSW including the preparation of resident contracts and other documents.
Acting on behalf of vendors and purchasers in respect of the sale and acquisition of residential and commercial property.
Acting for landlords and tenants in drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial and retail leases, disclosure statements, deeds of surrender, assignments and renewals of lease.
Acting for local government in acquisitions and disposals of land, road discontinuances, subdivisions and creation of easements.
