Jaqueline works broadly across the commercial sector advising a range of clients operating in the not-for-profit, medical colleges, health and aged care sectors. She advises on a range of corporate transactions, commercial agreements and governance issues.

Prior to practicing law Jaqueline was an accomplished senior executive, trusted adviser, consultant, non-executive director, and chartered secretary with wide-ranging executive and directorship experience spanning the manufacturing, IT, education, health and community care sectors, in public, private, not-for-profit and social purpose enterprises. Jaqueline has been appointed as a member on the Alfred Hospital Ethics Committee. 

Experience

  • Assisting clients with general commercial and corporations law
  • Advising on corporate governance issues, including directors’ duties, regulatory compliance, conflicts of interest and ethics and conduct
  • Advising and acting for health sector organisations, including in relation to regulatory advice, complaint handling, and medico-legal issues
  • Acting for medical colleges with respect to determinative decisions, reconsiderations, reviews and appeals
  • Advising medical organisations and health related bodies in relation to health research projects, privacy, and other commercial issues
  • Assisting clients with commercial contracts for business operations
  • Provision of commercial advice, including the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts
