Krystal is a Special Counsel in the firm’s Property & Development practice with a particular focus on sales and acquisitions, property development, and leasing transactions. Krystal advises private, corporate and institutional clients in a broad range of commercial property matters, including commercial, retail and industrial leasing for major landlords, tenants and statutory authorities.

Prior to joining Russell Kennedy in 2019, Krystal spent 8 years in the Property & Development team at Arnold Bloch Leibler in Melbourne. Krystal has been listed in the Best Lawyers Guide for Real Property Law for consecutive years.

Experience

  • Acting for and advising private and public companies, major landowners and property developers in a range of commercial property matters, including the acquisition and disposal of commercial, retail, industrial and mixed-use properties, owners corporation issues and property due diligence.  
  • Acting for and advising landlords and tenants including public and private companies, councils and government authorities in relation to all aspects of retail, commercial and industrial leasing transactions.
  • Advising retirement village owner/operators in relation to restructure and redevelopment matters, including owners corporation and resident contract issues.
  • Acting for mortgagees, receivers and liquidators in relation to the disposal of various residential, commercial and industrial sites, including large scale forestry plantations and assets in Victoria and New South Wales.
  • Property due diligence for the acquisition and sale of commercial, retail, industrial and mixed-used properties.
