Maria is an experienced Associate at Russell Kennedy and is an integral part of the Family Law division within the dispute resolution team.

Maria brings extensive expertise in both property and parenting matters with a particular interest in matters surrounding international child abduction and relocation.

Maria is a seasoned advocate and is meticulous in the drafting of court documentation and in the strategic presentation of persuasive oral argument before a Court.

Before joining Russell Kennedy, Maria served as an Associate to a Judge of the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia, and has intricate knowledge of the practice and procedure of family law. Additionally, Maria dedicates her time to volunteering at the Marrickville Legal Centre, where she helps individuals who might otherwise lack access to justice.
