Matt is a Principal in Russell Kennedy’s Victorian WorkCover Authority team. Matt has worked in insurance and injury litigation acting for a wide variety of employers for many years. Matt's extensive experience includes acting on behalf of the Victorian Workcover Authority in relation to statutory benefits and common law claims under the Accident Compensation Act.

His involvement in this area has allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the interaction between legislation, regulatory framework, the imperatives of government policy and accountability. Matt also has a particular interest in multi-defendant matters and has represented many of the State's largest labour hire employers.
