Rory is a Principal in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial practice with extensive experience in corporate advisory and mergers and acquisitions matters, including negotiated acquisitions/disposals of companies and businesses, takeovers and schemes of arrangement, corporate fundraising and restructures, and shareholder and joint venture arrangements.

Rory also practices in relation to a range of other general corporate and commercial matters, including regulatory advice, corporate governance and commercial contracting. His practice involves acting for ASX listed and private companies, family offices, government bodies/entities and start-ups.

Prior to joining Russell Kennedy, Rory spent over 11 years in the Corporate / M&A team at Herbert Smith Freehills in Melbourne. Rory has also previously worked in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell and has completed client secondments with the National Australia Bank and the Victorian State Government (Department of Transport).
