Sara is a lawyer in the Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety team based in the Sydney office.

Sara works closely with Principals and senior lawyers at Russell Kennedy to support clients in a range of employment, workplace relations and discrimination matters. She is committed to providing clients with legal support and commercial solutions when dealing with non-contentious and contentious issues, and to help them manage their legal, financial and reputational risks.

Experience

  • Preparing employment related documents including employment contracts, letters to employees relating to performance or conduct concerns, and policies and procedures.
  • Undertaking legal review of global employee handbooks, policies and procedures.
  • Assisting businesses and organisations with management of employee performance, conduct and absentees, restructures and redundancies, and dismissals.
  • Conducting employment related legal due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and assisting clients on employment-related matters post-acquisition.
  • Assisting clients in legal disputes in the Fair Work Commission, including general protections and unfair dismissal claims.
  • Conducting legal training regarding employment-related matters to senior management and staff.
