Sara is a lawyer in the Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety team based in the Sydney office.

Sara works closely with Principals and senior lawyers at Russell Kennedy to support clients in a range of employment, workplace relations and discrimination matters. She is committed to providing clients with legal support and commercial solutions when dealing with non-contentious and contentious issues, and to help them manage their legal, financial and reputational risks.

Experience

Preparing employment related documents including employment contracts, letters to employees relating to performance or conduct concerns, and policies and procedures.
Undertaking legal review of global employee handbooks, policies and procedures.
Assisting businesses and organisations with management of employee performance, conduct and absentees, restructures and redundancies, and dismissals.
Conducting employment related legal due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and assisting clients on employment-related matters post-acquisition.
Assisting clients in legal disputes in the Fair Work Commission, including general protections and unfair dismissal claims.
Conducting legal training regarding employment-related matters to senior management and staff.
