Australian organisations are facing an unprecedented level of malicious cyber activity.
The primary source of information on current security threats is the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), run by the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).
Through cyber threat monitoring and intelligence sharing with partners in Australia and overseas, the ASD comprehensively understands the cyber threat facing Australian agencies and business. The ASD uses this expertise to help ensure the security of Australian networks and critical infrastructure.
The ASD prevents and responds to cyber threats and provides advice and guidance on best practices for securing information systems.
