Who should attend this webinar: Law students, lawyers, general counsel, and any person who has an interest in furthering their understanding of climate justice and the measures needed to achieve it.

The complexity of the environmental crisis we face means that no single discipline can provide an adequate understanding of it. This interdisciplinary panel discussion seeks to forge a holistic and systemic understanding of climate justice, canvass why it is important, and explore the diverse work currently being done in Australia to achieve it.

In this webinar, our panel will explore:

  • What is climate justice?
  • What are the measures needed to achieve it?
  • Why is an interdisciplinary approach to climate justice essential?
  • What work is currently being done in the climate justice space and how can you get involved?

The Panel

This session will be facilitated by Associate Professor Gerry Nagtzaam, Faculty of Law, Monash University.
