As part of the 2022 CLC CPD day, the Pro Bono team will be hosting a panel discussion on working with Counsel. This session is worth 1 CPD point in Professional Skills.
The panel will be facilitated by Malvina Hagedorn, Special Counsel, Pro Bono, Russell Kennedy and will feature:

- When to get counsel involved / types of advice counsel can provide;
- The role of an instructing solicitor / role of counsel;
- Expectations of an instructing solicitor / counsel;
- Key ingredients of a good brief to counsel;
- Preparing your client for hearing;
- How to instruct at court;
- General etiquette.
