Russell Kennedy Lawyers has advised the owners of the Milbrae Business Group (Sellers) in relation to the sale of their substantial NSW quarrying and concreting business to E.B. Mawson & Sons Proprietary Limited (Mawsons).
Russell Kennedy advised the Sellers on all legal aspects of the transaction, including the sale of the business and assets as well as the substantial portfolio of land assets on which the business operates.
Founded in 1969, the Milbrae business group consists of 13 quarries and seven fixed concrete plants, with its head office in Leeton, New South Wales. Milbrae is a leading supplier of necessary materials for local building and infrastructure construction throughout the Riverina region of New South Wales. It also provides contract crushing services to the mining sector.
The Buyer, Mawsons, is a 50:50 joint venture between a subsidiary of ASX listed AdBri Limited and BA Mawson Pty Ltd, which operates a large number of quarries and concrete plants throughout regional Victoria and southern New South Wales.
