Russell Kennedy Lawyers is proud to be publicly recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency for the fifth straight year.
The Australian Government statutory agency, Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) today announced that Russell Kennedy is among 120 other organisations that were recipients of the citation.
In her statement WGEA Director, Mary Wooldridge said “…EOCGE citation holders are officially recognised as some of the best employers in Australia who are committed and dedicated to action in achieving gender equality.
“Critically, these organisations are delivering on a formula that sees better support structures in place for working families; stronger actions to address pay inequalities; and strategic recruitment and promotion practices that help to encourage the full participation of women at work.”
Russell Kennedy's Managing Director, Paul Gleeson, said “Achieving the WGEA EOCGE citation for a fifth year is an acknowledgement of our continuing commitment to achieving true gender equality at Russell Kennedy. Gender equality is a key platform in our drive to create a better workplace that delivers meaningful opportunities for all of our people.”
Russell Kennedy’s Director of People & Culture, Leanda Nissen, played an integral part in pulling together the Russell Kennedy citation submission: "At Russell Kennedy we continue to take deliberate, strategic actions to drive positive change towards gender equality. This ongoing commitment is embedding gender equality in our workplace and will ensure that we lead the way when attracting and retaining talented people.”
