China’s ‘National Sword’ Policy
Russell Kennedy has played a leading role in supporting the industry to respond to the significant disruption caused by China’s National Sword policy. We’ve negotiated directly with all major service providers on our clients’ behalf, and hosted seminars for the Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group and Sustainability Victoria to explore its impact on the industry.
Climate Change
Our sustainability and climate change experts advise on carbon trading licensing issues, energy efficiency/emissions reduction projects, fuel credits and government grants, excise and GST, governance and climate change obligations, and recycling and waste processing contracts. We also assist with energy efficiency standards, green lease negotiations, carbon sequestration and Forestry Rights Act 1996 (Vic) advice, water recycling, methane capture, energy production and governance.
