This will be the first Local Government – Environmental Health focused webinar for 2025. Presenting the webinar will be Principal Louisa Dicker and Special Counsel Marcus Heath, who have specialised knowledge and experience in this area of law.
The focus of this webinar will be section 66 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 (Vic), which outlines a unique compliance option for Council where there is a statutory nuisance on unoccupied land or occupied land where the occupier and owner is unknown or cannot be found.
Louisa and Marcus will help you navigate the powers and duties on Council in using section 66. They will also present case studies and provide best practice insight for attendees regarding the benefits and hurdles of this part of the legislation.
