Russell Kennedy Lawyers is delighted to announce the 2021 promotions
Russell Kennedy remains committed to its agenda of growing capacity and capability in core industries, enhancing and facilitating opportunities for its clients, now and into the future. Russell Kennedy continues to expand in a commercial environment which in the past year has delivered both significant challenges and opportunities for law firms.
This continued focus on growth has seen our firm grow to 50 Principals, with an additional 5 principals joining the partnership in 2021, both from other firms and by being promoted from within our own ranks.
Amanda Doring has joined the firm as a Principal in the Family Law team in Sydney. Amanda has worked exclusively in Family Law since 2001 and is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, a trained Family Law Collaborative Solicitor, a Nationally Accredited Mediator, registered Family Dispute Practitioner, and an Independent Children’s Lawyer.
Clare Hesbrook joined the firm as a Principal in the Sydney Wills and Estates team. Qualified as a lawyer in both New South Wales and the UK, Clare has specialised in estate planning since 2009, in both law firms and a Big 4 accounting firm. Clare moved to Australia in 2015.
Goran Gelic has significant experience advising Local Government and State Government in the construction, infrastructure and procurement sectors. Goran has joined the Sydney office and is an infrastructure and energy expert, specialising in a range of waste, renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities and water matters. He regularly advises Local Councils in requirements and obligations.
Chantal Reigo recently joined the Melbourne office. She practises principally in the areas of commercial litigation and insolvency, across the construction, property and development, financial services, waste, transport, manufacturing, food services and hospitality, and health sectors.
Samantha Taylor has been at Russell Kennedy for a large part of her career. She is an outstanding commercial property lawyer, working with both Government and private sector clients on a variety of commercial property transactions including sales and acquisitions and commercial leasing.
