Anna undertakes broad property work, with a particular interest in commercial property matters, and specifically in community living, multi-dwelling accommodation and serviced facilities.
Anna’s prior experiences encompass
working across a number of major jurisdictions in Australia, advising on all
aspects of property transactions from due diligence investigations, development,
acquisitions and disposals to ongoing management, leasing and licensing of real
estate assets.
Throughout her career Anna enjoyed working with and building
strong connections with participants from diverse backgrounds, such as charities,
indigenous businesses and not-for-profit organisations.
In a previous role as an in-house counsel, Anna assisted clients with housing
development, installation of infrastructure facilities, redevelopment of real
estate, site consolidation and subdivision and other property related projects
(including joint ventures with government departments and agencies).
For a number of years, Anna closely worked with a
national accommodation provider, advising executive team in relation to
management and development of a portfolio of diverse real estate assets, risk
management and legal strategy. As part
of that engagement, Anna negotiated complex long-term leases, development
leases, major asset purchase and procurement, and associated mainstream
agreements.
Having worked in both private practice and in-house within
clients’ business, Anna is able to relate to clients’ needs and is committed to
delivering an effective and proactive strategy for every project.
